Department Introduction

The municipal historic site, Fongyi Academy, was built in 1814. It is the largest and most complete academy left in Taiwan. With a history of over 200 years, the Fongyi Academy reopened in 2014. The beauty of the architecture itself is worthy of people’s visiting. In the Academy, you can see the introduction of the imperial examination and the history of Fengshan, as well as the Fongyi Academy. Moreover, the cute action figures in the Academy represent historical scenes.
