織品來自日常，而日常編織歷史。一塊古老的織品可以窺見祖輩的技藝與創意，經緯之間，綴出一部人類文明進化史。然而，環境中的光照、溫度、濕度、微生物、害蟲及空氣污染物等皆會對其造成危害，若無法妥善保存，將持續劣化；脆弱的文物是來自民間的殘響，也是歷史的散歌。 織品修護藉由工藝調查、檢視紀錄、科學檢測、修護作業與維護管理等科技技術，與織品產生跨時空的對話。本特展從修護師出發，規劃多個主題展區，從「織品的修護者」、「織品的修護之旅」、「修護師的主場」、「技藝的延續」到「觀影區/講座互動區」，揭開修護工作的神祕面紗。在織品修護之旅中，時光將在您的指尖穿梭百年，一起來感受民藝韻致、展開文化想像，沉浸科學織事獨有美學。 The fabric is from our daily life, and the daily life weaves the fabrics. An old fabric is shown the skills and creativities from the ancestors, and it even can weave the history of human civilization evolution from interlace. However, the fabric could be damaged by the light, temperature, humidity, microorganisms, pets, and air pollutions from the environment. If the fabric couldn’t be well preserved, it will be deteriorated continuously. Fragile cultural relics are the reverberation from the folk, and also the scattered songs of the history. The maintenance of fabric can have the dialog with the fabric from the scientific technologies of investigation, inspection records, scientific testing, repair operations and maintenance management. There are many topics from this special exhibition for demystifying the work from the conservators: “Fabric Repairer”, “The Journey of Repairing the Fabric”, “Home Court for the Conservators”, “The Continuation of Artistry”, and “Movie Area/ Interaction and Lecture”. In the journey of repairing the fabric, you may explore hundreds of years from your fingers, feel the attractive from the folk art, imagine the culture, and immerse the aesthetics from the scientific weaving.
