Department Introduction
After the establishment of the Qiu Zaixing Culture and Education Foundation in 1991, it founded the Hong-Gah Museum in 1999. With exhibitions, promotional events, and cross-field performances held, the Museum provides a professional and quality environment for local people to enjoy art performances. The goal of the Museum is to spread the joy of art. In 2003, the Museum officially became one of the Local Cultural Halls in Taiwan. Moreover, the Museum received the MOC Arts and Business Award and the Taipei Culture Award several times. The Museum continues to hold educational programs and lectures as well as to promote aesthetic education in the community. Additionally, the Museum offers space for the exhibition of contemporary art, and theme exhibitions are organized annually. For example, the biennale, Taiwan International Video Art Exhibition, and solo exhibitions of domestic and foreign artists. The Hong-Gah Museum aims to become the starting point of art development and improve the spiritual life of people by promoting community culture development. This in turn can show the hospital culture and warmth of the community.
