Department Introduction

The County Indigenous Museum was founded in 2008. The Museum has a double-pitch roof covered with gray flat roof tiles and its main design is the slabstone sloping roof of the aboriginal people. The appearance of the Museum presents the diverse culture of aboriginal people in Taiwan. The first floor is a space for exhibition and performances. It usually exhibits the crafts and works of aboriginal people. What’s more, the auditorium is a perfect place for performances of artistic groups. In the reading area at the entrance, you can find many books about the aboriginal people in Taiwan.
