Establishment Purpose

• The Cultural Affairs Bureau of Chiayi City is with the subordinating units including the Municipal Museum, the Koji Pottery Museum, the Music Hall, the Art Site of Chiayi Railway Warehouse, the Historical Relics Museum, the Municipal Library, the Sie Hien Library, the Huang Bin Library, and the Art Museum (under construction). With the service-oriented concepts, "enthusiasm, professionalism, efficiency, and innovation," the Bureau has committed to providing various artistic and literary activities, such as exhibitions, shows, book-reading events, etc. It's hoped that the heritage can be deeply rooted in the present for further innovation development that can enhance citizen's humanistic quality; as a result, the city will be the hometown of art and culture.
