Beginning on November 4th of this year, the museum’s main exhibition building will be closed for the permanent exhibition and children’s hall renovations and isn’t expected to open again until September 30 , 2020.
While renovations are underway on the main exhibition building, the museum remains open to visitors. Special exhibitions will be presented in Multifunction Classroom and Learning Center.

9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.(Last admission is 30 minutes before closing) *Closed every Monday (open on National Holidays, closed on the following day), and Chinese New Year's Eve and Chinese New Year's Day. If the Tainan City Government announces a typhoon day off (or any other natural disaster) the Museum will separately announce the necessity of Museum closure.
