Department Introduction

The Xinzhuang Culture Arts Center is the first culture art center at the township/district level. It was under the governance of the Hsinchuang City Office, Taipei County. After Taipei County upgraded to a special municipality “New Taipei City” on December 25, 2010, the Xinzhuang Culture Arts Center was handed over to the governance of Cultural Affairs Department, New Taipei City Government. The building of the Xinzhuang Culture Arts Center is mainly made of red bricks, and you will also find light green and gray bricks on the outside. The building structure looks like the combination of a circle and a square. The red on the Xinzhuang Culture Arts Center building shows the energy of the city. The Culture Arts Center has a structure plan of a floor underground and 3 floors above ground. In the Arts Center you will find an auditorium, an art hall, a periodical room, a reading room, a puppet cultural room and a collection room. The multi-functional and diverse space design allows the creativity of art and culture to go on and on.
