Department Introduction
Chinese Medicine is the feature of the China Medical University. We have been devoted to developing the science of Chinese medicine in an effort to enhance the education, research, and promotion of Traditional Chinese Medicine. The Lifu Museum of Chinese Medicine officially opened its door to the public on October 6, 1991, and the name of the hall was changed to “Lifu Exhibition Hall of Chinese Medicine” again in 1998 to celebrate the 99th birthday of Mr. Li-Fu, Chen, the Chairman of the university, and to express gratitude for his devotion to the university. 20 years later, the name of the hall was changed again to the “Lifu Museum of Chinese Medicine” in 2018. The displays in the museum includes related books, relics, archeology documents of Chinese medicine, Chinese herbal medicine, and Acupuncture, as well as the communication of Chinese Medicine in the Northeastern regions. This manifests the traditional Chinese medical culture and propagates our aim to delve into Chinese medicine. The China Medical University (CMU) is dedicated to the scientific research, education, and promotion of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).
