Establishment Purpose

• The "Treevalley Life and Science Museum" is Taiwan's first museum that houses bone specimens to demonstrate the relationship between life and the environment. Themed with the subjects of biology, archaeology, and science. Through the animal bone specimens, archaeological remains, scientific and technological objects, high-tech interactive displays that are paired with vivid simulation landscape, as well as the process of using digital VR guide and interactive experience, visitors will be led to start from the formation of the earth to explore the evolution of the biological environment over hundreds million years, pre-historic cultural evolution, and the mystery of modern science development. In addition to the three thematic exhibition areas, "Animal-Environment Hall" "Human-Environment Hall" and "Science-Civilization Hall," the museum is facilitated with "Exploration Story House" and "Special Exhibition Room," where visitors can do DIY and brainstorm by themselves while learning a series of knowledge related to life science.

Department Introduction

The museum aims to become an "auxiliary teaching venue for natural science and regional cultural education" that takes the youth and parent-child groups as the main targeted visitors. Through the animal bone specimens, archaeological remains, scientific and technological objects, high-tech interactive displays that are paired with vivid simulation landscape, as well as the process of using digital VR guide and interactive experience, it is hoped to boost and develop the education of science, humanity, and social science.
