Department Introduction

In 2004, the Taitung Theater founded the Taitung Performing Art Center. The Council for Cultural Affairs included Taitung in the Local Cultural Hall plan in 2003. The “Taitung Performing Art Center” serves as a place that provides space for local art and culture activities in Taitung. It continues to provide theater education, find new blood in the field, and offer rental service. Moreover, it organizes comprehensive drama festival events. The Taitung Performing Art Center has now become a consulting center for art and culture information in the eastern area. It provides citizens with an environment full of diverse art and culture activities. The formulation of the “Art and Culture Landmark in Houshan” is going somewhere and becoming better and better.
