Department Introduction

The Wu Family Dough Figurine Hall is the only dough figurine cultural museum in Taiwan, located in the Xihu Township, Changhua County. They started business in 2015 after the renovation to lead the visitors back to the 1950s and 1960s with the archaic exhibition hall. Multiple pieces of installation art made by dough decorate the interior of the hall such as the 12 Chinese Zodiac signs and the candy house. A cafe, introduction area of dough figurine culture, exhibition hall for a traditional three-section compound, and the hall introducing the history of the Wu Family dough figurines and a DIY area are also established for visitors. The Wu Family Dough Figurine Hall also provides dough figurine displays and teaching, workshops for teachers, outdoor education, and the handling of various events and exhibitions related to the passing down and selling of dough figurines.
