Department Introduction
The Beigang Cultural Center is situated at the northwestern corner of Bei Chen Elementary School of Beigang Township. The center includes a Performance Hall with a stage that can accommodate about 60 people, an auditorium with 361 seats, Art and Culture Special Exhibition Room, Theme Exhibition Room, and Briefing Room, etc. The Performance Hall is an exquisite venue located in the coastal area of Yunlin County, prepared for professional performance groups. It is appropriate for holding concerts, dance performance, and drama, etc. Apart from that, the Art and Culture Special Exhibition Room on the first floor is available for handicrafts, art, calligraphy, or photography exhibitions. The Theme Exhibition Room on the second floor is a special exhibition space dedicated to the theme of “Beigang’s Mazu Festival”, which exhibits the precious artifacts from the Mazu belief and Art Parades, and a pair of Koji Pottery works from the Beigang Mazu Pilgrimage. The displays perfectly present the frenzied scenes and the imposing manner of Mazu's pilgrimage.
