Department Introduction

Reopening on May 19, 2016, the Taoyuan Arts Cinema is a four-story building located in the center of Taoyuan City adjoining to the Cheng Gong Elementary School. It was initially planned as a recreation center for the elderly, but later on transformed into a space for reading and art. For the room planning, there is an exhibition room of about 178.5 square meters on the first floor, one computer classroom with three training classrooms on the second floor, an auditorium with 192 seats (including three seats for wheelchairs) on the third floor, and a rehearsal room of about 165.2 square meters on the fourth floor. The comprehensive hardware and software equipment provide a site for art and cultural events, such as the final presentations for schools of all levels and screening of art films.
