Department Introduction

About the Taichung Broadcasting Bureau: The Taichung Broadcasting Bureau under the Taichung Branch of the Taiwan Broadcasting Bureau was officially opened on May 11, 1935. It was the key base for broadcasting information in the central area of Taiwan during the Japanese occupied period. The ＠STUDIO, a local arts and creative organization in Taichung, acquired the operation rights by contract in 2015. It upholds the spirit of the Broadcasting Bureau “to share and deliver” information. By holding diverse and rich exhibitions as well as activities, the core idea of broadcast is presented with the concept of five senses. We hope the Taichung Broadcasting Bureau will become the key base for broadcasting again. About ＠STUDIO: The ＠STUDIO was founded in 2012 with the introduction of the service design and media creativity. We hope to inspire more innovative creations and imagination, and to construct a creative platform where people can share ideas together. With the core spirit of “local culture, creative design, and the art of living”, diverse and colorful art and culture as well as leisure activities are planned and promoted. What’s more, the concept of public welfare is integrated so that the idea of greater value can be created and promoted.
