Establishment Purpose

• The Fushan Experimental Forest that is subordinated to the Fushan Research Center of Taiwan Forestry Research Institute has an area of 1,097 hectares, it is divided into 3 areas, the "Water Source Reserve," the "Botanical Garden" and the "Hapen Nature Reserve."

Department Introduction

(1) Focus on the collection and display of Taiwan's native plants. (2) Conduct researches on conservation in its surroundings. (3) Carry out the long-term studies of the forest ecosystems and transform the achievement into the materials of natural science education. (4) Develop the place into a natural science education center and a tourism example of an ecosystem.
