Department Introduction

Combining the natural resources with the diverse human cultures of the Atayal people in Miaoli County, the Tayal Museum aims to provide the functions of literature research, cultural relics exhibition, cultural education, leisure activity organizing, and industrial economy development. On the first floor you can see the service counter, cultural relics exhibition area, special exhibition area, nursery room, and souvenir stamp stand. On the second floor you will find the office, collection room, audio-visual classroom, and the forest experience area (real bamboo house and firefly) that presents traditional elements with the latest technology. Outside the Museum are the turf and sidewalk where events can be held and the area can fit about 700 people.
